Brazilian lawmakers stand in opposition to stricter guidelines for social profit BPC, says native media


SAO PAULO (Reuters) – Brazil’s Congress reached an settlement to reject stricter guidelines for the so-called BPC, a social profit for the aged and disabled, newspaper Valor Economico reported on Wednesday.

The changes in BPC had been a part of the fiscal bundle that’s being voted this week by the Congress.
