US forecaster sees 59% probability of La Nina creating between Nov 2024-Jan 2025


(Reuters) – There’s a 59% probability of La Nina rising from November 2024 to January 2025, with a transition to ENSO-Impartial probably by March-Could 2025, a U.S. authorities forecaster mentioned on Thursday.

La Nina is a phenomenon characterised by unusually chilly ocean temperatures within the equatorial Pacific area and is linked to floods and drought.
