Shell shuts down oil processing unit to analyze leak, Singapore’s port authority says


(Reuters) -Shell has shut down an oil processing unit at its Pulau Bukom facility to analyze a suspected leak, Singapore’s Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) and Nationwide Setting Company (NEA) stated on Friday.

The oil firm estimates that a number of tonnes of refined oil merchandise, together with cooling water discharge used within the refining course of, have leaked.
