US intelligence factors to potential misidentification of Azerbaijani airplane by Russia, MSNBC stories


(Reuters) – There may be U.S. intelligence that Russia could have mistakenly shot down an Azerbaijan Airways flight that crashed in Kazakhstan on Wednesday after misidentifying it as an incoming drone, MSNBC reported on Friday, citing two unidentified U.S. navy sources.
