Taiwan shares larger at shut of commerce; Taiwan Weighted up 0.12%


Investing.com – Taiwan shares have been larger after the shut on Monday, as good points within the Data Providers, Digital Components/Parts and Semiconductor sectors led shares larger.

On the shut in Taiwan, the Taiwan Weighted rose 0.12% to hit a brand new 1-month excessive.

The perfect performers of the session on the Taiwan Weighted have been ALi Corp (TW:3041), which rose 10.00% or 3.45 factors to commerce at 37.95 on the shut. In the meantime, Plotech Co Ltd (TW:6141) added 10.00% or 1.50 factors to finish at 16.50 and Taimide Tech Inc (TW:3645) was up 10.00% or 4.40 factors to 48.40 in late commerce.

The worst performers of the session have been Hiyes Worldwide Co Ltd (TW:2348), which fell 10.00% or 25.00 factors to commerce at 225.00 on the shut. Compucase Enterprise Co Ltd (TW:3032) declined 10.00% or 10.30 factors to finish at 92.70 and Huaku Growth Co Ltd (TW:2548) was down 6.80% or 8.50 factors to 116.50.

Falling shares outnumbered advancing ones on the Taiwan Inventory Trade by 0 to 0.

Crude oil for February supply was up 0.07% or 0.05 to $70.65 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities buying and selling, Brent oil for supply in March rose 0.09% or 0.07 to hit $73.86 a barrel, whereas the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 3.90 to commerce at $2,635.80 a troy ounce.

USD/TWD was down 0.14% to 32.78, whereas TWD/CNY unchanged 0.13% to 0.22.

The US Greenback Index Futures was down 0.02% at 107.77.
