Mexico shares decrease at shut of commerce; S&P/BMV IPC down 1.57%

Investing.com – Mexico shares have been decrease after the shut on Friday, as losses within the Industrials, Client Items & Providers and Client Staples sectors led shares decrease.

On the shut in Mexico, the S&P/BMV IPC declined 1.57%.

The very best performers of the session on the S&P/BMV IPC have been Megacable Holdings, S.A.B. De C.V. (BMV:MEGACPO), which rose 4.94% or 1.78 factors to commerce at 37.81 on the shut. Falling shares outnumbered advancing ones on the Mexico Inventory Change by 112 to 102 and 13 ended unchanged.

Shares in Fomento Economico Mexicano UBD (BMV:FEMSAUBD) fell to 52-week lows; falling 4.56% or 8.01 to 167.70. Shares in Becle SA (BMV:CUERVO) fell to 5-year lows; down 4.25% or 1.00 to 22.51. Shares in Orbia Advance Company SAB de CV (BMV:ORBIA) fell to 5-year lows; shedding 4.05% or 0.61 to 14.46.

Gold Futures for February supply was down 0.70% or 18.70 to $2,650.30 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities buying and selling, Crude oil for supply in February rose 1.20% or 0.88 to hit $74.01 a barrel, whereas the March Brent oil contract rose 0.83% or 0.63 to commerce at $76.56 a barrel.

USD/MXN was up 0.30% to twenty.64, whereas EUR/MXN rose 0.64% to 21.28.

The US Greenback Index Futures was down 0.40% at 108.77.
