Investing.com – Taiwan shares had been larger after the shut on Monday, as positive factors within the Computer systems & Peripherals, Oil, Fuel & Electrical energy and Semiconductor sectors led shares larger.
On the shut in Taiwan, the Taiwan Weighted gained 0.33%.
The perfect performers of the session on the Taiwan Weighted had been World Manufacturers Manufacture Ltd (TW:6191), which rose 9.97% or 6.30 factors to commerce at 69.50 on the shut. In the meantime, Common Inc (TW:1325) added 9.90% or 2.85 factors to finish at 31.65 and Spirox Corp (TW:3055) was up 9.89% or 6.20 factors to 68.90 in late commerce.
The worst performers of the session had been Chroma ATE Inc (TW:2360), which fell 9.94% or 39.00 factors to commerce at 353.50 on the shut. Goldsun Constructing Supplies Co Ltd (TW:2504) declined 9.90% or 5.20 factors to finish at 47.30 and Asia Optical Co Inc (TW:3019) was down 5.90% or 10.50 factors to 167.50.
Falling shares outnumbered advancing ones on the Taiwan Inventory Trade by 0 to 0.
Crude oil for February supply was down 0.34% or 0.25 to $73.71 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities buying and selling, Brent oil for supply in March fell 0.37% or 0.28 to hit $76.23 a barrel, whereas the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.36% or 9.54 to commerce at $2,645.16 a troy ounce.
USD/TWD was up 0.02% to 32.94, whereas TWD/CNY unchanged 0.09% to 0.22.
The US Greenback Index Futures was down 0.03% at 108.76.
