Mexico shares increased at shut of commerce; S&P/BMV IPC up 1.01%


Investing.com – Mexico shares have been increased after the shut on Tuesday, as positive aspects within the Industrials, Shopper Items & Providers and Shopper Staples sectors led shares increased.

On the shut in Mexico, the S&P/BMV IPC added 1.01%.

The perfect performers of the session on the S&P/BMV IPC have been Grupo Televisa SAB Unit (BMV:TLEVISACPO), which rose 4.63% or 0.35 factors to commerce at 7.91 on the shut. In the meantime, Promotora y Operadora de Infraestructura SAB de CV (BMV:PINFRA) added 3.56% or 6.36 factors to finish at 184.95 and Gentera SAB de CV (BMV:GENTERA) was up 3.46% or 0.82 factors to 24.52 in late commerce.

The worst performers of the session have been Becle SA (BMV:CUERVO), which fell 2.21% or 0.50 factors to commerce at 22.12 on the shut. Grupo Elektra , S.A.B. De C.V. (BMV:ELEKTRA) declined 1.79% or 5.65 factors to finish at 310.00 and Grupo Financiero Banorte (BMV:GFNORTEO) was down 1.53% or 2.19 factors to 140.75.

Falling shares outnumbered advancing ones on the Mexico Inventory Change by 114 to 108 and 16 ended unchanged.

Shares in Becle SA (BMV:CUERVO) fell to all time lows; dropping 2.21% or 0.50 to 22.12.

Gold Futures for February supply was up 0.67% or 17.61 to $2,665.01 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities buying and selling, Crude oil for supply in February rose 1.02% or 0.75 to hit $74.31 a barrel, whereas the March Brent oil contract rose 1.02% or 0.78 to commerce at $77.08 a barrel.

USD/MXN was up 0.05% to twenty.31, whereas EUR/MXN fell 0.39% to 21.01.

The US Greenback Index Futures was up 0.37% at 108.50.
