US State Division approves army helicopter sale to Zambia for $100 million


WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. State Division permitted a international army sale to Zambia of army helicopters and associated logistics help for an estimated price of $100 million, the Pentagon mentioned in an announcement on Monday.

The principal contractor can be Bell Textron (NYSE:TXT), situated in Fort Value, Texas, in accordance with the Pentagon.

“The State Division has made a dedication approving a doable Overseas Army Sale to the Republic of Zambia of Bell 412 Enhanced Efficiency Exportable Medium-Raise Transport Helicopters and associated parts of logistics and program help,” the Pentagon mentioned.
