Mexico shares greater at shut of commerce; S&P/BMV IPC up 0.14%


Investing.com – Mexico shares have been greater after the shut on Tuesday, as positive aspects within the Industrials, Shopper Items & Providers and Shopper Staples sectors led shares greater.

On the shut in Mexico, the S&P/BMV IPC added 0.14%.

One of the best performers of the session on the S&P/BMV IPC have been Grupo Aeroportuario Del CentroNorte (BMV:OMAB), which rose 5.19% or 9.69 factors to commerce at 196.53 on the shut. In the meantime, Regional SAB de CV (BMV:RA) added 4.36% or 5.08 factors to finish at 121.53 and Gentera SAB de CV (BMV:GENTERA) was up 3.94% or 0.97 factors to 25.60 in late commerce.

The worst performers of the session have been Grupo Comercial Chedraui, SAB De CV (BMV:CHDRAUIB), which fell 4.43% or 5.52 factors to commerce at 119.18 on the shut. Orbia Advance Company SAB de CV (BMV:ORBIA) declined 3.51% or 0.49 factors to finish at 13.46 and Alfa, S.A.B. De C.V. (BMV:ALFAA) was down 3.48% or 0.54 factors to 14.98.

Falling shares outnumbered advancing ones on the Mexico Inventory Alternate by 129 to 101 and 10 ended unchanged.

Shares in Grupo Aeroportuario Del CentroNorte (BMV:OMAB) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 5.19% or 9.69 to 196.53. Shares in Orbia Advance Company SAB de CV (BMV:ORBIA) fell to 5-year lows; falling 3.51% or 0.49 to 13.46.

Gold Futures for February supply was up 0.48% or 12.95 to $2,691.55 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities buying and selling, Crude oil for supply in March fell 0.74% or 0.57 to hit $76.73 a barrel, whereas the March Brent oil contract fell 0.94% or 0.76 to commerce at $80.25 a barrel.

USD/MXN was down 0.64% to twenty.52, whereas EUR/MXN fell 0.03% to 21.15.

The US Greenback Index Futures was down 0.70% at 109.04.
