FBI Appearing Director Paul Abbate retires from the bureau, official says

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Paul Abbate, the deputy director of the FBI who took over quickly as appearing director after the resignation of Christopher Wray, retired from his put up on Monday, an FBI official mentioned.

It was not instantly clear who might be taking on as appearing director of the bureau till President-elect Donald Trump’s FBI director nominee Kash Patel could be confirmed by the U.S. Senate.
