Netherlands shares decrease at shut of commerce; AEX down 0.31%


Investing.com – Netherlands shares had been decrease after the shut on Tuesday, as losses within the Expertise, Oil & Fuel and Fundamental Supplies sectors led shares decrease.

On the shut in Amsterdam, the AEX declined 0.31%.

One of the best performers of the session on the AEX had been Relx PLC (AS:REL), which rose 0.94% or 0.44 factors to commerce at 47.30 on the shut. In the meantime, Wolters Kluwer (AS:WLSNc) added 0.87% or 1.50 factors to finish at 173.40 and Koninklijke Philips NV (AS:PHG) was up 0.67% or 0.17 factors to 25.52 in late commerce.

The worst performers of the session had been ASML Holding NV (AS:ASML), which fell 2.09% or 15.60 factors to commerce at 732.40 on the shut. BE Semiconductor Industries NV (AS:BESI) declined 1.77% or 2.60 factors to finish at 143.95 and ASM Worldwide NV (AS:ASMI) was down 1.32% or 8.20 factors to 614.20.

Falling shares outnumbered advancing ones on the Amsterdam Inventory Alternate by 66 to 29 and seven ended unchanged.

Shares in Relx PLC (AS:REL) rose to all time highs; gaining 0.94% or 0.44 to 47.30. Shares in Wolters Kluwer (AS:WLSNc) rose to all time highs; gaining 0.87% or 1.50 to 173.40.

The AEX Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of AEX choices, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.

Crude oil for March supply was down 1.71% or 1.32 to $76.07 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities buying and selling, Brent oil for supply in March fell 0.95% or 0.76 to hit $79.39 a barrel, whereas the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.47% or 12.96 to commerce at $2,761.66 a troy ounce.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.14% to 1.04, whereas EUR/GBP unchanged 0.05% to 0.85.

The US Greenback Index Futures was down 1.29% at 107.79.
