Belgium shares decrease at shut of commerce; BEL 20 down 0.09%


Investing.com – Belgium shares had been decrease after the shut on Tuesday, as losses within the Utilities, Client Providers and Healthcare sectors led shares decrease.

On the shut in Brussels, the BEL 20 declined 0.09%.

One of the best performers of the session on the BEL 20 had been KBC Groep NV (EBR:KBC), which rose 1.82% or 1.34 factors to commerce at 75.08 on the shut. In the meantime, Sofina (EBR:SOF) added 1.49% or 3.40 factors to finish at 232.00 and Aedifica (EBR:AOO) was up 0.88% or 0.50 factors to 57.50 in late commerce.

The worst performers of the session had been Umicore SA (EBR:UMI), which fell 2.49% or 0.26 factors to commerce at 9.99 on the shut. Argen-X (EBR:ARGX) declined 1.26% or 8.00 factors to finish at 626.40 and Anheuser Busch Inbev SA NV (EBR:ABI) was down 1.13% or 0.53 factors to 46.58.

Falling shares outnumbered advancing ones on the Brussels Inventory Trade by 52 to 47 and 11 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for February supply was up 0.39% or 10.71 to $2,759.41 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities buying and selling, Crude oil for supply in March fell 1.72% or 1.33 to hit $76.06 a barrel, whereas the March Brent oil contract fell 1.00% or 0.80 to commerce at $79.35 a barrel.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.12% to 1.04, whereas EUR/GBP unchanged 0.05% to 0.85.

The US Greenback Index Futures was down 1.28% at 107.81.
