Kia America to recall over 80,000 U.S. automobiles over improper air bag deployment from broken wiring, NHTSA says

(Reuters) – Kia America is recalling 80,255 Niro EV, Plug-in Hybrid and Hybrid automobiles within the U.S. as air baggage and seat belts that deploy improperly or an air bag deploying unintentionally can improve the danger of damage in a crash, the U.S. Nationwide Freeway Visitors Security Administration stated on Saturday.
