Mexico’s peso falls after Trump declares tariffs on Colombian items


MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – The Mexican peso depreciated in worldwide commerce after U.S President Donald Trump introduced he would impose tariffs on Colombia, reviving considerations about his commerce coverage.

The forex, one of the crucial liquid currencies globally, was buying and selling at 20.4630 items per greenback, down 1% in comparison with the London Inventory Trade Group (LON:LSEG) reference value on Friday.

Tariffs on the South American nation are a part of a sequence of actions introduced by the U.S. president in retaliation for Bogota’s resolution to reject two army planes carrying deported migrants.
