Trump’s Colombia tariffs on maintain after Bogota agrees to just accept migrants- AP


Investing.com– U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposed commerce tariffs towards Colombia at the moment are on maintain after Bogota agreed to just accept migrants deported from the U.S., the Related Press reported on Sunday. 

Trump had threatened to impose 25% tariffs on all Colombian imports after the nation refused two U.S. navy planes carrying migrants from touchdown within the nation. 

The Colombian authorities agreed to Trump’s phrases of accepting unlawful immigrants, and Trump’s proposed tariffs had been now on maintain, the AP reported, citing a press release from White Home Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.  

The U.S. President had threatened to impose a 25% obligation on all Colombian imports, which was set to extend to 50% inside every week. Colombia’s greatest exports to the U.S. are oil, espresso, gold, and flowers.
