ATHENS – U.S. oil producer Chevron has expressed curiosity for hydrocarbons exploration off the island of Crete within the Mediterranean Sea, the Greek power ministry mentioned on Wednesday.
Greece has accepted Chevron’s curiosity for 2 blocks south of Crete and can quickly resolve on the bloc’s coordinates and on launching a world tender, the power ministry mentioned in an announcement.
Greece has launched a young for brand new fuel exploration rights at at one other deep-sea block south of the Peloponnese peninsula following an expression of curiosity by Chevron.
