Unique-Venezuela’s PDVSA suspends oil loading authorizations to Chevron, sources say


HOUSTON (Reuters) -Venezuela’s state oil firm PDVSA has canceled a number of authorizations it had granted to its three way partnership companion, Chevron, to load and export Venezuelan oil this month, three sources with information of the choice stated on Thursday.

Two of the cancellations contain tankers that had already loaded, so the oil must be returned to ports, whereas a 3rd had not loaded, one of many sources stated.

PDVSA and Chevron didn’t instantly reply to requests for remark. It was not instantly clear if the cargoes could be rescheduled as Washington had given Chevron till late Could to wind down exports from the nation.
