Kenya’s inflation edges as much as 2.8% 12 months on 12 months in November


NAIROBI (Reuters) – Kenya’s inflation edged as much as 2.8% year-on-year in November, from 2.7% a month earlier, the statistics workplace mentioned on Friday.

Kenya targets an inflation charge of between 2.5% and seven.5% within the medium time period.

The central financial institution is because of announce its newest benchmark lending charge determination on Dec. 5. In October, the financial institution reduce its charge to 12.00% from 12.75%.
