US Home Speaker Johnson goals for stopgap invoice to fund authorities till March


WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Republican U.S. Home of Representatives Speaker Mike Johnson mentioned on Tuesday that he expects the chamber to vote a stopgap measure that may fund the federal government till March, averting a partial shutdown that may in any other case start when present funding expires on Dec. 20.
