Taiwan shares larger at shut of commerce; Taiwan Weighted up 0.99%

Investing.com – Taiwan shares have been larger after the shut on Thursday, as beneficial properties within the Different Digital, Digital Components/Parts and Glass sectors led shares larger.

On the shut in Taiwan, the Taiwan Weighted rose 0.99%.

One of the best performers of the session on the Taiwan Weighted have been PCL Applied sciences Inc (TW:4977), which rose 10.00% or 13.00 factors to commerce at 143.00 on the shut. In the meantime, FSP Know-how Inc (TW:3015) added 10.00% or 6.40 factors to finish at 70.40 and Polytronics Know-how Corp (TW:6224) was up 9.98% or 6.20 factors to 68.30 in late commerce.

The worst performers of the session have been Lead Knowledge Inc (TW:2443), which fell 9.85% or 0.39 factors to commerce at 3.57 on the shut. Hitron Applied sciences Inc (TW:2419) declined 9.52% or 3.40 factors to finish at 32.30 and Shin Tai Business Co Ltd (TW:1235) was down 8.50% or 12.50 factors to 134.50.

Falling shares outnumbered advancing ones on the Taiwan Inventory Trade by 0 to 0.

Shares in PCL Applied sciences Inc (TW:4977) rose to 3-years highs; rising 10.00% or 13.00 to 143.00. Shares in FSP Know-how Inc (TW:3015) rose to all time highs; up 10.00% or 6.40 to 70.40.

Crude oil for January supply was down 0.06% or 0.04 to $68.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities buying and selling, Brent oil for supply in February fell 0.08% or 0.06 to hit $72.25 a barrel, whereas the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.00% or 0.06 to commerce at $2,676.14 a troy ounce.

USD/TWD was down 0.09% to 32.39, whereas TWD/CNY unchanged 0.09% to 0.22.

The US Greenback Index Futures was down 0.14% at 106.14.
