Greece expects file tourism income of twenty-two billion euros this 12 months, says minister


ATHENS (Reuters) – Greece expects file tourism revenues of about 22 billion euros ($23.24 billion)this 12 months, Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni mentioned on Tuesday, round a ten% rise from 2023.

Final 12 months, the Mediterranean nation collected what was then a file of 20 billion euros from tourism, a key driver for its economic system.

“This 12 months we count on (revenues) of about 22 billion euros,” Kefalogianni informed public broadcaster ERT.
