US bans imports from extra corporations over Uyghur compelled labor


WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The US has banned imports from one other tranche of corporations over alleged human rights abuses involving the Uyghurs in China, focusing on greater than 30 textile, mining and photo voltaic entities, a federal authorities discover revealed on Tuesday stated.

The businesses have been added to the Uyghur Pressured Labor Prevention Act Entity Listing, which restricts the import of products tied to what the U.S. describes as China’s human rights abuses and ongoing genocide within the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Area.

U.S. authorities say Chinese language authorities have established internment camps for Uyghurs and different non secular and ethnic minority teams in China’s western Xinjiang area. Beijing has denied any abuses.
