Portugal shares decrease at shut of commerce; PSI down 0.23%


Investing.com – Portugal shares had been decrease after the shut on Tuesday, as losses within the Utilities, Expertise and Industrials sectors led shares decrease.

On the shut in Lisbon, the PSI declined 0.23%.

The perfect performers of the session on the PSI had been Ibersol SGPS (ELI:IBS), which rose 5.29% or 0.42 factors to commerce at 8.36 on the shut. In the meantime, CTT Correios de Portugal SA (ELI:CTT) added 1.59% or 0.09 factors to finish at 5.74 and Banco Comercial Portugues (ELI:BCP) was up 1.03% or 0.01 factors to 0.51 in late commerce.

The worst performers of the session had been EDP Renovaveis (ELI:EDPR), which fell 2.11% or 0.20 factors to commerce at 9.26 on the shut. EDP Energias de Portugal SA (ELI:EDP) declined 1.76% or 0.06 factors to finish at 3.07 and Sonae SGPS SA (ELI:YSO) was down 1.20% or 0.01 factors to 0.90.

Falling shares outnumbered advancing ones on the Lisbon Inventory Trade by 17 to eight and 4 ended unchanged.

Shares in Ibersol SGPS (ELI:IBS) rose to 3-years highs; up 5.29% or 0.42 to eight.36. Shares in CTT Correios de Portugal SA (ELI:CTT) rose to 5-year highs; up 1.59% or 0.09 to five.74. Shares in Banco Comercial Portugues (ELI:BCP) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 1.03% or 0.01 to 0.51.

Brent oil for March supply was down 0.92% or 0.74 to $79.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities buying and selling, Crude oil for supply in March fell 1.69% or 1.31 to hit $76.08 a barrel, whereas the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.46% or 12.51 to commerce at $2,761.21 a troy ounce.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.13% to 1.04, whereas EUR/GBP unchanged 0.06% to 0.85.

The US Greenback Index Futures was down 1.30% at 107.79.
