Portugal shares greater at shut of commerce; PSI up 0.68%


Investing.com – Portugal shares have been greater after the shut on Tuesday, as positive factors within the Financials, Primary Supplies and Industrials sectors led shares greater.

On the shut in Lisbon, the PSI added 0.68%.

The very best performers of the session on the PSI have been CTT Correios de Portugal SA (ELI:CTT), which rose 4.27% or 0.19 factors to commerce at 4.64 on the shut. In the meantime, Ibersol SGPS (ELI:IBS) added 3.37% or 0.24 factors to finish at 7.36 and Semapa (ELI:SEM) was up 2.21% or 0.30 factors to 13.90 in late commerce.

The worst performers of the session have been EDP Renovaveis (ELI:EDPR), which fell 2.22% or 0.24 factors to commerce at 10.56 on the shut. EDP Energias de Portugal SA (ELI:EDP) declined 0.80% or 0.03 factors to finish at 3.35 and Ren Redes Energeticas Nacionais SGPS SA (ELI:RENE) was down 0.41% or 0.01 factors to 2.40.

Rising shares outnumbered declining ones on the Lisbon Inventory Trade by 15 to 11 and three ended unchanged.

Brent oil for February supply was up 2.66% or 1.91 to $73.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities buying and selling, Crude oil for supply in January rose 2.98% or 2.03 to hit $70.13 a barrel, whereas the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 11.31 to commerce at $2,669.81 a troy ounce.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.21% to 1.05, whereas EUR/GBP unchanged 0.05% to 0.83.

The US Greenback Index Futures was down 0.19% at 106.22.
